I created the concept and did the art direction for this photoshoot. I wanted to highlight the musicians in a fun and personable way to make the symphony feel more accessible. The mainly outdoor location also ties in the symphony as an integral part of the Seattle landscape.
These postcards involved concept work, sketching, photography direction as well as layout.
I provided art direction including sketches and worked closely with stylists and photographers on-set for Joann Fabrics.
I developed the creative for the JOANN+ program, which offers a variety of perks to customers who need to buy product in bulk like business owners and organizations. The collateral involved a logo, photography, a separate website and a variety of marketing materials to reach the target customer.
These are direct mail covers that I concepted with photo direction and various sale event artwork. I also designed the rest of the ad and sketched photography concepts for featured product.
I created this illustration for the Celebrate Asia concert series at the Seattle Symphony. It was the year of the pig and my illustration is inspired by Chinese paper cut art.

The purpose of this booklet was to show the creative process behind the patterns, authentic printing techniques and material sourcing as well as a shoutout to the #handmadewithjoann community. This inspiration is the Danish concept of hygge, which describes a sense of contentment and coziness. The piece also ties in autumn colors, key trends and top selling product for the season.
